Success story — WIIT

A multilingual skill management software.

For the Europe-wide WIIT group, we brought the entire organization's knowledge together in one place — visible across all locations and languages.

01Challenge

Making highly specialized knowledge visible.

For the software to deliver this, many requirements had to come together.

01

Make specialist knowledge visible

Highly specialized skills and competencies should be centrally visible across the Europe-wide expanding company — across all locations.

02

Emergencies & rapid deployment

In an emergency, the right person with the necessary qualification must be found immediately.

03

Skill search in HR

At the same time, HR should be able to search specifically for skills to assign employees to tasks and tenders.

04

Interface to HRworks

The skill software must connect to the HR management system HRworks so that personnel data and skills are not maintained twice but flow together between the systems.

05

Safeguard certifications

Partner and membership status depend on certifications such as AWS; they must be tracked early and reliably.

06

Usable in multiple languages

The solution must work across locations and languages: German, English and Italian.

07

Data protection & user permissions

Even in skill search, data protection and differentiated user permissions must be preserved — clearly defining who may view and search which data.

08

Mandatory training & records

Legally required training that every employee must complete should be recorded completely, including proof.

09

Sustainability report (CSRD)

For EU sustainability reporting under CSRD and ESRS, the software provides workforce metrics — such as completed training and the share of women.

02Solution

Software that guides knowledge.

We brought the entire WIIT group's knowledge together in a multilingual skill management software. Highly specialized skills and certificates are visible across all locations, HR can search specifically for skills, and in an emergency the right person is found instantly. Via an interface to HRworks, personnel data and skills flow together between the systems instead of being maintained twice.

Every skill is stored with a level, making it clear who has which ability at what level. Training can be requested directly through the system, and completed training deliberately expands employees' skills.

Differentiated user permissions and thoughtful data protection govern who may view and search which data. Legally required training is recorded completely, including proof, and the workforce metrics are ready for EU sustainability reporting under CSRD and ESRS.

Knowledge secured, always at hand.

Around 900 employees now use the software across the group.

The group can now see across locations which competencies and certificates exist — and can react before a partner status is jeopardized by individuals leaving.

Personnel data and skills stay consistent via the HRworks integration, mandatory training is documented including proof, and the metrics for sustainability reporting are ready whenever they're needed.
