[07] FAQ — Common questions

Answers up front.

01 What defines us as developers?
We are fullstack developers with a clear philosophy: we take responsibility for a solution from the interface to operations – frontend, logic, database and infrastructure from a single source. Instead of quickly cobbled-together solutions, we build software that stays maintainable and grows with you.
02 Which technologies do you use?
We are open to all technologies and focus on security, maintainability and cost-effectiveness – on that basis we make our recommendations. In the frontend we're big fans of Svelte, for many reasons, for fast, reactive interfaces. The logic is built in Python, we manage content with Payload as a headless CMS, and where it fits also with WordPress. We handle operations in the cloud, and for document processes our own nexa products come in.
03 Do you offer ready-made products or custom development?
Both. Alongside custom development, there are ready-to-use nexa products: nexa Pass, nexa Cloud, nexa Freeform, nexa Scan, nexa OCR, nexa XML Connector and nexa Tools. They can be used individually or embedded into a custom solution.
04 What does a project at nexasoft cost?
As a rule we work in an agile way and bill transparently by hourly rates – so you stay flexible as requirements evolve. A fixed price is optionally possible, for example with a clearly defined scope. Smaller projects start in the low four-figure range; larger ones we calculate individually.
05 How long does a project take?
A focused web application takes four to eight weeks, larger software projects from twelve weeks. We provide a concrete timeline after the briefing.
